Service Delivery
Fife Gingerbread will seek to ensure that all lone parents have equal rights to access the services it provides regardless of gender, race, ethnic background, age, disability, sexual orientation, class, status of lone parenthood or any other unjustifiable ground.
Gingerbread recognizes that lone parents from ethnic minority groups, with a disability, and men are currently under-represented as service-users. We will seek to facilitate the uptake of the service by lone parents from the groups in particular. Gingerbread will strive to promote equality of access for all our information services and publications.
Child Protection Policy
All children and young people have the right to be protected and be free from harm from others. We have a responsibility towards children and young people. The Management Committee and staff of Fife Gingerbread are duty bound to abide by Scottish Executive Guidelines and will report any individual that may cause them concern. Safety concerns always over-ride confidentiality.
Quality Standards
Fife Gingerbread strive to delivery a quality service and measure our performance in a variety of ways. For example: Any referrals will be dealt within 5-10 working days. Any phone calls will be answered within 6 rings.
