What works?

The Scottish Government learning network has worked with the Poverty Alliance and Glasgow Caledonian University to publish a collection of case studies demonstrating effective practice in tackling poverty.

Fife Gingerbread have been chosen as an example of good practice for tackling poverty and a case study prepared featuring the great work we do in the community.

What do you mean by 'tackling poverty'?

This can mean many things. It may be

* improving the quality of life of people experiencing poverty
* improving the chances of people living in poverty to escape poverty
* lifting people out of poverty
* preventing people living on the margins of poverty from falling into poverty
