AGM & Annual Event 2021
Fife Gingerbread's AGM & Annual Event 2021 took place (8th October, 2021) at Fife Renewable & Innovation Centre in Leven, Fife. The theme for the event was 'Shaping Our Future Together'.
Around 60 delegates attended the event, including staff, local businesses, representatives from partner organisations, sector professionals, volunteers, and of course parents. Attendees attended two workshops during the event, listened to the stories of our parents and watched videos that provided an inside view of last year Fife Gingerbread’s work and activities.
At our first workshop, delegates joined the 'Parents Forum' team where they had the chance to listen to the voices and reflections of the parents. Attendees had the opportunity to see how we work with parents in real life.
The second workshop, 'More than just an opinion', featured a professional analysis and conversation through beliefs, values and opinions from both parents and staff. They provided real experiences of being a young parent in Fife and explored the challenges they have faced and the successes they have had individually and as a group.
The AGM & Annual Event always recognises great work through the awards portion. This is an opportunity for workers to highlight fantastic volunteers and amazing parents. We were delighted to have sponsors for the awards (ExxonMobil) this year and support from local businesses that are partnering with us to deliver our services and present our awards.
