Working 4 Families
Providing tailored support to working families to ensure they can sustain employment and progress in their careers.
Our Working 4 Families project provides tailored, person-centred support to help parents remain in employment and progress within the workplace. We take a whole-family approach, recognising that every family in our community has unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
We understand that many working families in Fife can still face pressures in everyday life, including the impact of in-work poverty. That’s why our dedicated support workers work alongside families offering practical guidance, encouragement, and advocacy to help build stability, strengthen resilience, and improve financial well-being.
By supporting parents in sustaining employment and making the most of their income, we aim to help families feel more secure, connected, and confident about their future.
What will the project do?
Provide parents with employability support through regular check-ins and home visits.
Work with parents to enhance their CV’s, applications, and interview skills so they can confidently target better-paid roles.
Advocate for parents to remove barriers to education, health, housing, benefits, and childcare.
Connect families to community groups and activities.
In partnership with CARF, support to reduce financial stress and uncertainty while exploring opportunities to strengthen overall financial well-being.
