Celebrating our Volunteers- A Grand Day Out!

August 2022- Fun in the Sun!

Fife Gingerbread has an amazing bunch of volunteers- they give their time to support the activities we run for families and provide parents with a listening ear. We are immensely grateful that they choose to support our work, and are vital to our success. In short, we love you guys!

We took our volunteers to Lochore Meadows on a glorious sunny day, to thank them for their work, and to have fun! Despite a hungry seagull swooping in and nabbing six rolls (and our Claire’s breakfast) we had a fantastic BBQ. We invited out Volunteers’ families to enjoy the park and splash in the water and enjoyed a good natter.

Tug of War was so much fun- even had a few passers-by join in to help us! Our volunteers are an integral part of what we do- bringing families together and supporting people to progress to better destinations. It was lovely to know that they felt valued and feel they gain as much as we do. Volunteering really does add so much to your life, and can really make a difference to everyone involved.

A fantastic day  spent with our volunteers and their families – to let them know how much we care and appreciate all they do for us all here at Fife Gingerbread.
